Description
Utterly resplendent, this architectural crown layers gold on gold, with a side of gold.
The base of the crown is a reinforced headband covered in soft metallic golden velvet. The central motif has been laser cut from plywood and then hand applied with gold leaf. In front sits an intricate crest stitched with hundreds of shimmering glass beads and gold sequins. At the sides are beautiful shimmering strings of delicate golden beads.
This crown is not fixed with glue, but rather it is meticulously hand stitched, making it surprisingly lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear. There are combs on the base to ensure it stays in place as you dance the night away. This piece is not built for wallflowers, but made with disco queens in mind.
