Perfect for any moon goddess. Soft but powerful, pearlescent and etherial, this headpiece brings out the shining light of any midnight voyager.
The base is made from a reinforced headband, padded and covered in soft metallic silver fabric. the focal point is a shimmering crescent, laser cut from (lightweight but strong) wood and hand applied with silver leaf. Curling around the headband is a delicate formation of pearls and iridescent sequins, with hanging pearl fringe. Intricate silver stars festooned with shimmering glass beads, silver sequins and opalescent diamantés sit at each side. Beneath these burst a comet’s trail of iridescent glass beads, giving the piece a delicate movement.
This crown is not fixed with glue, but rather it is meticulously hand stitched and wired, making it surprisingly lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear. There are combs on the base to ensure it stays in place as you dance the night away. This piece is not built for wallflowers, but made with disco queens in mind.
